(Hong Kong, 21 March 2014) Sun Fook Kong was honored with “The 3rd Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” by The Mirror Magazine for three consecutive years in recognition of its commitment in corporate social responsibility. The award presentation ceremony was held on 21 March 2014 at Hotel ICON Hong Kong, and Mr. C.Y. Leung, the Chief Executive of HKSAR was one of the officiating guests of the event.
 
Organized by The Mirror Magazine, “The 2nd Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” aims at establishing a platform to enhance the communication and experience sharing among big corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Its judging criteria include shareholder commitment, employee care, environmental protection, customer commitment, social concern and leadership. During the Award Presentation Ceremony, prizes were presented to different enterprises in appreciation of their consistent efforts in CSR promotion.
 
Sun Fook Kong has always emphasized on project quality, site safety and environmental protection. Moreover, the Group strives to nurture the next generation for both construction industry and the society. In addition to the establishment of apprenticeship programs to provide on-job training for graduates, the Group also funded them in obtaining professional license. In order to promote occupational health, Sun Fook Kong has organized the Occupational Health Basketball Competition, held regular health talks and actively participated in the walkathon that organized by charitable organizations etc. 
 
Sun Fook Kong will work closely with the industry to promote corporate social responsibility and will further strengthen the development of corporate social responsibility among the Group. Moreover, the Group will keep contributing to the society so as to achieve sustainability.
