Sun Fook Kong Leagues Play for Health and Charity
(Hong Kong, 12 August 2019) Sun Fook Kong leagues have been organized for years, with 7 basketball teams and 8 football teams this year. The purpose of organizing Sun Fook Kong leagues is to build team spirit and friendship among staff. On 12 August, Sun Fook Kong held a basketball friendly match with our supplier, Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance”) as a mean to make contribution to the society.
After the preliminary matches, the Sun Fook Kong Occupational Health Friendly Basketball Match Final was Team Diamond Hill versus Team Ho Tung. Team Ho Tung won. Also, the Sun Fook Kong Occupational Health Friendly Football Match Final was Team Fo Tan versus Team Maintenance. The winner was Team Maintenance. It was hoped that our staff would embrace challenges at work and in life with their full energy through participating in friendly basketball and football matches.
Apart from organizing Occupational Health Friendly Basketball & Football Match, Sun Fook Kong Leagues planned the Basketball Friendly Match with “Alliance” and hoped to improve each other’s skills through the match. Also, we donated to SAHK in order to help those in need and hoped that more children would be benefited. Representative of SAHK was invited for the cheque presentation on that day.
In future, Sun Fook Kong will continue attaching importance to the physical health and mental health of our staff in order to achieve work-life balance. Also, we will encourage more staff to take part in charity work in order to make contributions to society.
